| Point being missed: | Vancouver has a dearth of rental or affordable ownership options for anyone needing 3 or more bedrooms (i.e. families!). Meanwhile, NIMBY influence keeps City Hall from passing much-needed laws to rezone parts of the East and West Side for things like larger townhouses. The vitriol stems from the fact that things like the units presented in this article are being presented as a solution to what's hurting this town. It doesn't need more small condos (for rent or owning). |
